Thank you both for your stories and perspectives! My question relates to Cybele’s I think. Do you have suggestions for how we can be in solidarity with one another across and within equity-deserving groups? I’m thinking about an organization I’m part of that is focussed on Disability access in health education, and how we can state and show our solidarity with folks from various equity-deserving groups - but I think the concept applies to multiple areas of my experience!

To support something I won’t benefit from - but if it increases justice (broadly) I always benefit from it even if not ‘directly’ 🙂

Thank you for hosting this much-needed conversation.

I think it is crucial that we move from seeing a patient in isolation to part of a larger system.

Thank you, Dr. Cejas.

I used to teach observation in child Psychiatry but it was viewed as not profitable. The collaboration with there support is crucial in understanding them.

Not sure if it was mentioned and I didn't hear it, can you say something about the issue of cultural and language barriers within disability and it's intersectionality with healthcare?
