SHL Presents: The Eye as Window to Brain Function and Health
Eye is the most accessible part of the central nervous system. Noninvasive technologies using nonvisible light source can now routinely image the structure and vasculature of the retina and the optic nerve at micron resolution, at an amazing 200,000 scans per second. Yaping Joyce Liao, MD, PhD, talks about state-of-the-art ophthalmic imaging, quantification of eye-brain diseases, and measurements of human health.
