Nina Schleicher
Senior Research Statistician @Stanford Prevention Research Center
Nina Schleicher, PhD, has been a Research Statistician at the Stanford Prevention Research Center (SPRC) in the Stanford University School of Medicine since 1999. She specializes in the evaluation of community-based interventions and analysis of longitudinal data. At SPRC, Nina serves as lead statistician for several federal and state projects about retail tobacco marketing, tobacco retailer density, and their impact on tobacco use by adolescents and adults. In addition, she has collaborated with the California Tobacco Control Program since 2004 as the Chief Analyst for the California Tobacco Advertising Survey, and she co-authored all peer-reviewed publications and reports that resulted from the statewide marketing surveillance. Nina received her PhD in Educational Psychology (Quantitative Methods) from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and has previously taught statistics and probability courses for the Department of Statistics at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
