In this interactive, skill-based session, participants will develop a practical internal “map” of the human emotional regulation systems based on the work of Paul Gilbert and Rick Hanson. Informed by this functional understanding of the nervous system we will learn and then practice the skills that help us to: self-soothe when experiencing failure and loss, cultivate courage to approach life’s challenges and find a sense of meaning and fulfillment throughout one’s life.
